Mr. Kim, has significant experience in the sector and has overseen numerous relevant transactions.
Mr. Kim served as President and CEO of Hutchison Harbour Ring Ltd, a technology company listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (SEHK: 715). Mr. Kim was also President and CEO of ICG Japan K.K. and Managing Director of Internet Capital Group Inc. (NASDAQ: ICGE). Mr. Kim has been active in technology investing for over two decades. During his career, Mr. Kim has directly managed over $3 billion in technology and media investments.
Previously, Mr. Kim served as Senior Managing Director of HQ Asia Pacific. Mr. Kim began his career as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company and as an investment banker with The First Boston Corporation. Mr. Kim has served as Chairman of several corporations including: Rummble Labs, Masabi, MTV Japan, @Japan Media, GPara, Equinox Computing, eXcelerator, and B2B Platforms. Mr. Kim has served on the board of several enterprises including: SCHAD, Food Info Mart, and Digimation Studios. Mr. Kim is a graduate of Harvard University (B.A.) and of Cambridge University (M.Phil.).
Mr. Souviron has more than 22 years of investment banking and private investment experience.
Previously, Mr. Souviron was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley. He joined the company in 1988 in New York in the mergers and acquisitions department. He moved to Morgan Stanley, London in 1992. During his career at Morgan Stanley, he provided advice on all aspects of M&A deal making and related financings across all sectors.
From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Souviron was a Managing Director with the SUN Group, a private investment firm. Mr. Souviron holds an M.B.A. in Finance and a B.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University where he was recipient of the Sebastian B. Littauer Award for outstanding promise of achievements in Operations Research.
Mr. Neale has extensive business development, marketing and product strategy experience and has extensive relationships within the mobile, VC and startup community.
Most recently Mr. Neale served as Global Head of Online Presence and Engagement for Symbian, the world's largest mobile operating system. In this role, Mr. Neale was responsible for identifying, developing and supporting leading mobile application developers.
Mr. Neale is also the Founder of Pretenseless Ltd., a consulting firm specialising in digital engagement and mobile technology. Clients of Pretenseless have included: Symbian, Toshiba, MySpace, IGN and MTV. In his previous role at MySpace, Mr. Neale was the companies first technical hire outside of the US and part of the European founding team.
Mr. Neale is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) and has also has served on the board of several digital enterprises including Rummble Labs.
Mr. Thekkepat has strong experience in the mobile technology sector and has advised multiple mobile operators across Asia and Europe.
Prior to this he was a management consultant with Oliver Wyman working with telcos on strategic issues and advising them on their M&A activity.
Recently, he also worked with Vodafone on a project to identify adjacent market growth for mobile operators opportunities including NFC, healthcare, cloud computing and financial services. Mr. Thekkepat is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology (B.S.) and of London Business School (MBA).
Mr. Janssen has extensive experience in engineering, M&A, and operations management.
Most recently he worked in corporate finance with Ernst & Young, providing DD and portfolio management, with a specialty in technology deals. Prior to this, he was a professional design engineer, coding for B2C and B2B applications. He has also developed for the iOS and Android mobile platforms.
Mr. Janssen is a graduate of the University of Alberta (B.Sc. Eng), and of the University of Oxford (MBA).
Previously, Mr. Gupta was at Acuity Capital, a UK venture capital firm where he focused on media and other technology sectors.
Prior to this, Mr. Gupta worked at EQMC, a private equity fund investing in significant minority stakes in listed European companies. Major transactions included acquiring substantial stakes in technology and industrial companies throughout Europe.
Mr. Gupta started his career in investment banking at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in the Telecoms, Media and Technology sectors. Mr. Gupta received a B.Sc. with Honours in Management from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
Previously, Ms. Loh worked for MAp Airports, one of the world's largest private airport owners where she focused on business development activities and was involved in the active asset management of its European airports.
Ms. Loh started her career in investment banking at Macquarie, London where she spent 3 years in its alternative asset funds management division. Ms. Loh received a B.Sc. with Honours in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
